Upcycled Garden: Boot Tray

Friday, July 29th, 2011

Practical and Pretty.

Much better than a mountain of muddy boots inside the doorway – Best of all, both the trays and rocks were purchased at the dollar store.

Lots of great ideas on the cheap at dollarstorecrafts.com.

Upcycled Garden: Garden Art – Very Smart

Thursday, July 28th, 2011

I flipped it over and used pliers to curl out the ends of the rusted prongs.

Next I used the pliers to adjust the prongs to fit my favorite colander and viola!

Very Smart.

Upcycled Art: Fabric Canvas

Tuesday, July 26th, 2011

I tried to make a quilt once, the remnants of my efforts are still stuffed in the back of my closet under a pile of clothes I keep for “just in case” reasons.

This is the coolest “quilting” idea ever – I could use up some of the old fabrics I have laying about, or upcycle that baby quilt i tried to make into a piece of art perfect for the nursery.

I love this idea, and I found it here.

Upcycled Garden: Lightbulb Vase

Sweet and Smart – These would look great anywhere!

I’ve already picked the perfect spot for my hanging flower garden: the large tree in our front yard.

So many good ideas here.

Saturday, July 23rd, 2011

Check it out here.
